7:24AM

for a while I was just thinking about trimming upmy friends list but now I think I'm just done with LJ. I just find it overall boring and irrevalent to my life now. There's some people people who I still find interesting like Karly, Heather to name a few. Other people who I find cool just don't update anymore. I'm on myspace. I think I'm theonly sebastian in Japan.

okay so I havn't posted in while. Mostly since ive been busy. I've been seeing 1000 year old buildings and drinking, alot since the Japanese like the bottle i though i would give it a whirl. Like last weekend, I walked Mirae (the other from Vic) home after she said creepy old men alway come up and talk to her and ask her for sex. Well in Japan the trains stop running at 12ish so, after saying good night I missed my train home and started to walk home but I forgot I lived 12 KM away and it started to rain so I crashed on bench in the train station and waited for the frist train home in the morning, I was pretty cool experience.
mail is being sent back don't worry i havn't forgoten

For Halloween all the students are planning to do this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osaka_Loop_Line
the guys are going as evil men in history. he got kim jon il, sadam, hitler, bush, satlin but i need someone
suggestions?

10:19AM

Okay so this weekend has been my frist in Japan and it was awesome. Fristy I was introduced to the concept of `hodai`. A tabehodai is like a buffet (ie you can eat as much as you want in a certain amout of time) but want I did was a nomi(drink)hodai yeah, all you can drink for 2 hours. I was me 2 other canadians 2 Japanese friends and some americans and we went to Kobe (closest big city about the size of Vanand an hour by trian) and met int his place right outside the station which in Japanese is called mothers breast park (call just call it titty park) because theres the concrete mounds that look like breast that you sit on. So on friday we chilled out in this park which looks like times square and listend to bands playing from all over Japan (because its really famous for it) drinking some beers in public. then we went to NOMIHODAI. alot of fun but I was hung over the next day. Anyways sat I went back to kobe to meet owen an ex-uvic student and walked around kobe. (oh and the reason the Japanese are soo skinny they walk everywhere.) Anyways he showed this place called asobi (play) hodai. For 15$ you can play video games, comp games, blowing, basketball, paintball, massage chairs oxigen masks, showers, etc etc for as long as you want and it never closes. Then I bought an engirsh hat that said *fuck off teenage de story*. Its two stories in the highrise on the water front. Then we meet some people who were on the exchange 2 years ago that are here for jet and some japanese students from my univeristy. we ate and then did karoke which compared to canada is fucking awesome here i totaly know why they do it alot. Anyways today im going out to get a cellphone and go to Kyoto and check out the city and start buy letters to send back home.
I cant describe how surreal this place is, pics comming soon.
ps. i got a cellhone yesterday its better than most digital cameras and i can watch tv on it and it was free.

7:37PM

Well I:ve been kinda busy and without internet so I havn;t been able to update. Anyways this program is awesome. The one night I did catch of orientation I smalled some beers with dude from the UNiversity of Hawaii, Charelton and Leeds. My homestay family is hella pro and I:m thier sixth homestay student. Anyways you don;t understand the word busy untill hundreds of Japanese people zoom by you the the most insanly intense mall you:ll ever see in your entire life (ie. the Kodabashi camera store in Osaka) actually anywhere in Osaka is just nuts. Luckly ny homestay house is located in a litte hamlet ( and by little I mead there arn:t any highrise for a couple of kilometres but as far as I can tell the urban sprall just never ends) called Takarazuka. it;s relativly close by train to my univeristy (which is amazingly beatiful BTW). Anyways I;ll link pictures once i buy a phone (which make canadian cell phones look like cocnut phones) so you can see. Girls always dress to the nines, except my homestay sister who is super chill. MY family are musicans and street performers and speak perfect english (though most of the time we speak Japanese). Anyways the weather here is really hot (like above 30 degrees) and ac is a luxury I dont get to use that often. Anyways I;m hitting the books before my placment test tomorrow, The only thing which would make this better would be if I wasn:t dirt poor.

1:09AM - http://electioneering.

I;ve had this odd feeling for the last few days. Maybe it's the stress, maybe it's my pending departure, maybe nothing i do between now and the time I leave has any signifcance.
I will love you ten thousand times to make you come to my side, I will like you thousand times more when we kiss, and lust you ten thousand times more when we make love.

maybe it's just the end of optimism the start of disapointment and the realisation that it will amount to nothing since I'm going away.

I have an interesting question. Say you were in Florida and there's going to be a massive hurrican and your driving in your coupe beside the beach driving away from the storm. You stop at a bus stop and find 3 people there. You know that you can only take one and the other two will die. The three people are a sick elderly person, your best friend and the person of your dreams. You can only take on, what do you do?

Current mood: restless
